How to Take a Screenshot on Android (and Share It as a Link)

Almost every Android phone uses the same shortcut for a screenshot, with a few extras for long pages. Here is how, and how to share the result as a clean link.

The standard shortcut

Press the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time. The screen flashes and the image saves to your gallery. A small toolbar usually appears to edit or share it.

Scrolling (long) screenshots

After capturing, tap Capture more or Scroll in the toolbar (wording varies by brand) to grab a whole page. For a desktop browser method, see how to take a full-page screenshot.

Share it as a link

  1. Open sshot.online in your browser.
  2. Tap the upload box and pick your screenshot.
  3. Copy the share link and paste it anywhere.

A link keeps full quality and works across every device. Free, no account, and the link does not expire.
