LinkedIn lets you attach an image to a post, but in comments and messages a link to your screenshot is often more practical — and it opens for anyone, connection or not.
In a post
Use the photo option in the composer to attach your screenshot directly. This is best for the headline image of a post.
In a comment or message
- Open sshot.online and paste or drop your screenshot.
- Copy the share link.
- Paste it into your comment or a direct message.
LinkedIn shows a preview of the link and the full image opens in a browser when clicked.
Clean up long links too
Sharing a portfolio or article link alongside it? The URL shortener turns a long, messy URL into something that looks professional in a post. Both are free and need no account.
